Description
My half of an art trade with ~Soothe-Sayer-Wolfess. We were going to do each other's characters, but I got sick of waiting for a ref sheet. So instead I used a song from one of her favorite bands, used her favorite animal, and voila! I have never really sat down and did a wolf before, and I really like this. The water took me a few days to paint [HAND paint, thank you Elements!!!], but I really like it. CRITIQUE AWAY!!!!

the splashes look really good, but you could do with sorting out the legs a little. it isn't so bad on the front leg but the back ones just seem to fade into the water. try using a harder eraser and then painting mini waves and foam around them. this will give it a much more realistic look.
also, to acheive realism you might want to add some droplets of blood/water onto the wolf's fur as at the moment he looks a bit too pristine and perfect!
